Josh Howard In Trouble For You Tube Video

Josh HowardWhether its Dennis Rodman, Pacman Jones, Sean Avery or David Wells, there always seems to be one bad boy in every sport.  This time the man stealing the headlines is the Dallas Mavericks Josh Howard and his video on You Tube. [expletive]

Josh Howard was at a charity flag football event this past July held by Allen Iverson.  The video which has been leaked on You Tube shows Howard, during “The Star Spangled Banner”, saying:  “I don’t celebrate this [expletive]. I’m black.”  He also makes some sort of reference to Presidential candidate Barack Obama in 2008.  Its very diffcult to hear as the quality of the video is not the greatest.

Mav’s owner Mark Cuban has said that the matter was dealt with after it happened in July, and at training camp he intends to speak with Josh Howard.

“That said, we will be going through some advanced communication skill sessions together this training camp,” Cuban said Tuesday. “I have explained to him that cell phone cameras are not your friend and that what you think you said on camera is never what people will hear when it shows up on YouTube or TV.”

This is not the first time Josh Howard’s name has come up in the news.  Back in July Josh Howard was arrested for speeding 94 mph in a 55 mph zone, careless/reckless driving, at a speed competition in North Carolina.  The second incident occured during the playoffs, Josh mentioned to reporters that he occasionally smokes marijuana.  The third event, was just after the Mavericks game 4 loss to the New Orleans Hornets.  Howard decided to throw himself and birthday bash angering his then coach Avery Johnson.

Josh Howard’s video on You Tube is not the last time you will see this bad boy in the news for something stupid.  You can always count on the bad boys of sports to keep us looking and wanting more or simply scratching our heads in disbelief.
