Fantasy Football Players Of Week 4

Brett FavreTotal Pro Sports – This past week was the craziest one yet of the young NFL season.  Heavily favored teams fell to seemingly weak opponents and the entire landscape of the league has shifted yet again.  This was the kind of week that takes years off the lives of fantasy football players.  These player either gave your team a big win or broke your heat, they are the best fantasy players of week 4.

Here are the best fantasy football players of week 4

Best Offensive Player – Brett Favre, QB, New York Jets,
A new nickname for Favre could be Bordeaux, because like a fine wine he seems to be getting better with age.  The old man looked rejuvenated against the Cardinals as he had 24 competitions for 289 yards and 6 touchdowns, yes 6 touchdowns.  Before we proclaim him as the best QB in the league, remember that Arizona was missing all-pro safety Adrian Wilson.

Honorable mention: Laveranues Coles, WR, New York Jets.

Chris JohnsonBest Offensive Rookie – Chris Johnson, RB, Tennessee Titans,
After being an honorable mention for the first two weeks of the season Johnson finally has earned the prestigious title of Total Pro Sports fantasy football offensive rookie of the week.  Johnson has had a significant impact on offense for the Titans thus far this season.  This week he rushed the ball 17 times for 61yards adding 2 touchdowns, he also had 3 receptions for 14 yards.

Honorable mention: Steve Slaton, RB, Houston Texans.\

Darrelle RevisBest Defensive Player – Darrelle Revis, DB, New York Jets,
Revis played a significant role in the Jets dominating win over the Arizona Cardinals.  Revis had 3 solo tackles and 2 interceptions one of which he took to the house for six points.  Revis now has 3 picks on the year and continues to prove that he is one of the best young corner backs in the league.

Honorable mention: Albert Haynesworth, DL, Tennessee Titans.

Tracy PorterBest Defensive Rookie – Tracy Porter, DB, New Orleans Saints,
This second round pick out of Indiana had himself the best day of his young career as he accumulated 3 tackles, 1 sack, and 1 interception.  The Saints defense stepped up against the 49ers and made big plays all day.  Porter looks to be a rising star on a defense that is in dire need of play makers.

Honorable mention: Chris Horton, DB, Washington Redskins.

Remember to check back next week for the best fantasy football players of week 5.
