Total Pro Sports – The Crimson Tide had a week off but remain the undisputed No. 1 team in our College Football Power Rankings,

The Florida Gators got the break they were looking for as the Sooners did them a huge favor by knocking off unbeaten Texas Tech. The Gators have 1 more huge game left in their schedule when they take on the Seminoles next week. You can be sure that the Gators will be ready for that game. The Gators will then play in the SEC Championship game against the undefeated Alabama Crimson Tide.

It what was the game of the week the Oklahoma Sooners routed the No. 2 in the country vaulting themselves to the No.3 spot with the impressive victory. The Sooners can solidify the No.3 ranking if they can beat the Cowboys in their finale. The BCS has been a controversial system for many years now, and this year is proving no different with a three way tie in the Big 12 South, all three teams feel they are deserving of a BCS Bowl Game.

College Football Power Rankings Movers And Shakers

Green ArrowOur biggest movers this week in our College FOOTBALL Power Rankings, were the TCU Horned Frogs and  West Virgina both moving up 6 spots in the College Rankings.

Red ArrowOur biggest shakers this week in our college Football Power Rankings for week 13 were the BYU Cougars, the Cougars fell 6 spots to number #18 after allowing 21 points to the Utes in the 4th quarter.

The second biggest shaker this week in our power rankings were the Texas Tech Red Raiders losing 4 spots moving to #6 after a huge loss to division rival Oklahoma Sooners.

Lets take a look at this weeks COLLEGE FOOTBALL POWER RANKINGS for week 13.

Rank Team Record Previous Comment

Alabama Crimson Tide

11-0 - Bye Week. Up Next: Auburn Tigers – Buy Tickets
2 Florida Gators 10-1 Green Arrow1 The Gators can thank the Oklahoma Sooners for opening up the window for them. The Gators needed one of the top 2 teams to lose in order for them to be eligible for a National Championship berth. The Gators need to avoid a slip up of their own as they play in state rival Florida State next week. Up Next: Florida State Seminoles – Buy Tickets

Oklahoma Sooners

10-1 Green Arrow2 I think the Big 12 South is going to have a lot of unhappy teams when the Bowl schedules are released. The Sooners dealt the Red Raiders their first loss of the season winning handily in Norman this week. Up Next: Oklahoma State Cowboys – Buy Tickets

Texas Longhorns

10-1 - Bye Week. Up Next: Texas A&M AggiesBuy Tickets

Penn State Lions

11-1 Green Arrow2 Huge win for the Nittany Lions this week as they hammered the Spartans and earned themselves a Rose Bowl berth. Oh ya and JoePa is returning for yet another season, all is good for Lions. Up Next: N/A

Texas Tech Red Raiders

10-1 Red Arrow4 With the embarrassing loss to Oklahoma this week, where does this leave the Red Raiders? It is hard to say if they will be playing in a BCS Bowl game, it is likely they will have a share of the Big 12 South however. Up Next: Baylor Bears – Buy Tickets

10-1 Red Arrow1

Bye Week. Up Next: Notre Dame Fighting Irish – Buy Tickets

8 Utah Utes 12-0 - Congratulations to the Utah Utes, they have run the table and now their destiny is a BCS Bowl Game. They doubled up on arguably their toughest test of the season the BYU Cougars. Next: N/A
9 Bosie State Broncos 11-0 - The Bronco’s got a great game out of their star freshman quarterback and needed every play as they hung on to win at Nevada. If the Bronco’s can close their season with another victory they also run the table. Up Next: Fresno State Bulldogs – Buy Tickets

Ohio State Buckeyes

10-2 Green Arrow1 The Buckeyes were just too much for the Wolverines, as Beanie Wells made some huge plays in the second half to rout rival Michigan. Up Next: N/A
11 Cincinnati 9-2 Green Arrow5 Brian Kelly had dreams of turning Tony Pike into a great college quarterback, he has reached that super stardom rather quickly. The Bearcats are playing some good football and sit atop the Big East. Up Next: Syracuse Orangemen – Buy Tickets

10-2 Green Arrow6

TCU wrapped up their season with only 2 losses, those 2 losses, however, were to two teams with a combined record of 22-1. The Horned Frogs had another great year and should hold their heads high and represent the Mountain West Conference with a lot of pride. Up Next: N/A

Missouri Tigers

9-2 Red Arrow3 Bye Week. Up Next: Kansas Jayhawks – Buy Tickets

Oklahoma State

9-2 Red Arrow1 Bye Week. Up Next: Oklahoma Sooners – Buy Tickets
15 Georgia Bulldogs 9-2 Red Arrow1 Bye Week. Up Next: Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets – Buy Tickets
16 Ball State 11-0 Green Arrow1 Nate Davis and MiQuale Lewis are having a great season for the Cardinal, they have set a school record for wins and have just one more stiff test remaining in their season finale. Up Next: Western Michigan Broncos – Buy Tickets
17 Oregon State Beavers 8-3 Green Arrow2 Beaver fans held their collective breaths when the game-tying PAT was missed with under 4:00 to go. The entire state of Oregon exhaled when Justin Kahut hit the game winning field goal as time expired to keep their Rose Bowl hopes alive. Up Next: Oregon Ducks – Buy Tickets

10-2 Red Arrow6 BYU lost in the annual ‘Holy Bowl’, which means they will not be playing in a BCS Bowl. The Cougars just fell apart in the fourth quarter getting outscored 21-0 and watching as Utes fans stormed the field in the dying seconds. Up Next: N/A
19 West Virginia 7-3 NR Pat White has done everything for the Mountaineers during his career there. He is trying his best to lead West Virginia to another Big East title, but it is not in their hands anymore, they need a Cincinnati loss in the upcoming weeks. Next Up: Pittsburgh Panthers  – Buy Tickets

Georgia Tech

8-3 NR The ACC remains to be a circus, with several teams in the hunt for a conference title the division will not be decided until the final game of the season. Up Next: Georgia Bulldogs   – Buy Tickets
21 Florida State 8-3 NR It was evident that the Seminoles were not looking ahead to their game against the Gators as they absolutely dominated the Terrapins this week. In the unpredictable ACC up is down and down is up, so we will not make any predictions, but rather just watch the final games and see what develops. Up Next: Florida Gators – Buy Tickets
22 Oregon Ducks 8-3 - Bye Week. Up Next: Oregon State Beavers - Buy Tickets
Western Michigan Broncos
9-2 Red Arrow2 Bye Week. Up Next: Ball State Cardinals – Buy Tickets
24 Michigan State Spartans 9-3 NR They had a very difficult loss as a trip to the Rose Bowl was within their grasp. They just did not have the talent to keep up with the Nittany Lions. The program is back on track and coach mark Dantonio should be enthusiastic about the talent at MSU. Up Next: N/A

Ole Miss

7-4 NR The Rebels are not in the Top 25 based on the way they have played all season nor for the record they have accumulated. The Rebels have yet to lose a game by more than 7 points and have earned victories in two of the toughest stadiums to win in (Florida and LSU), they are deserving of the No. 25 seed. Up Next: Mississippi State Bulldogs – Buy Tickets

Honorable Mention: Boston College, Northwestern, Iowa, Maryland, Virginia Tech, North Carolina, Miami-Florida, Tulsa, Central Michigan, LSU, South Carolina, California, Troy
