UFC Fight Night 16 Review

Total Pro Sports-  The UFC put on a great show last night live on Spike to help benefit the injured troops from Iraq and Afghanistan. Considering UFC Fight Night: Fight For The Troops was a free event I thought that most, if not all of the fights, were very exciting.  The main event in particular was really good, as Josh Koscheck almost sent Yoshiyuki Yoshida back to Japan by punching him in the face and knocking him out.

The only thing that I found a little ironic was the fact that the UFC was collecting money on behalf on the injured soldiers, while in the mean time fighters were injuring themselves in the ring.  I know that the injuries suffered at war are on a much different scale than the ones that were suffered in the ring last night.

Yet two fighters suffered some gruesome injuries in the ring.  One was Razak Al-Hassan who broke his arm and Corey Hill who broke his leg in half.

It was a really good card and it was for a great cause, so well done job UFC.
