Sam Bradford Wins The Heisman Trophy
Total Pro Sports – The 2008 Heisman Trophy goes to the Oklahoma Sooners Quarterback, Sam Bradford.
Sam Bradford lead his Sooners team to the highest scoring college football team in history and to this years BCS national championship game. Sam Bradford received a total of 1726 points, Colt McCoy was a close second receiving 1604 points and Tim Tebow finished who received the most first place votes but finished third with 1575 points. Tim Tebow was also denied back to back Heisman Trophies.
A non shocker here, we thought Sam Bradford was a hands down favorite to win the Heisman Trophy. But now that Bradford won the Heisman, recent trends show that the winner of the Heisman goes on to lose their Bowl games 5 out of 7 times favoring Tim Tebow and the Florida Gators to potentially be this years National Champion.
