Giants Lose! The Cowboys Kiss and Make up!

by: AnthonyP On  Monday, December 15, 2008

The Secret PlayTotal Pro Sports – The New York Giants got totally outplayed on Sunday night and lost to the improving Dallas Cowboys 20-8.  This was a huge win for Dallas considering that they are tied for a wild card spot.

Conversely, the big story of the night was not how well the Cowboys played, instead, the story was about the Tony Romo, T.O. and Jason Witten controversy.  There were many reports all week stating that Tony Romo and Jason Witten, who are best friends, were plotting against T.O. because they both don’t like him.  One of the stories came from thesportingblog.com,

“As was inevitable, Terrell Owens’ relationship with his quarterback is on the rocks. Yesterday, ESPN’s Ed Werder reported that T.O. feels left out and believes that Tony Romo and Jason Witten “hold private meetings in which they create plays the two will use in upcoming games without including Owens in the conversations.” That’s some pretty far-fetched paranoia, right? Wrong. Check out this napkin left behind by Romo, who was enjoying a beverage with his best good friend Jason at the Omni William Penn Hotel’s Tap Room in Pittsburgh last Saturday night:”

After a big win, the three teammates were interviewed and put this controversy to rest last night on national television.  Terrell Owens was also quoted in a post game interview saying,

“It was a lie and it’s unfair. I had to deal with this all week. I don’t know where he’s getting his sources from, and whatever his source was, they told a blatant lie. I don’t know where that came from either.”

Will T.O. ever be a good teammate?  His talent is undeniable, but his attitude is a joke and its always about him.  He has been a cancer on whatever team he has been on, which makes many experts believe that Dallas will never win a superbowl with Terrell Owens: and with Tony Romo drawing up plays on napkins.
