Philadelphia Flyers Like To Party!!!

Mike Richards At Frat Party

Total Pro Sports - Even Pro athletes like to party with college kids, as reported first by sportsbybrooks.com. Mike Richards,  Scottie Upshall and Jeff Carter were all seen at a Temple University Fraternity party late Thursday night, drinking all their free alcohol.  As stated by a Temple University fraternity’s president.

So they came up, essentially they just chilled near the bar, kept getting all the free drinks, well drinks we paid for, which is great we paid for the Flyers to get trashed at our date party.  They were very chill, we asked them to take a lot of pictures there were very friendly.  Apparently one of the guys there hit on my date, kinda funny cuz I didn’t get any (not surprising).

Mike Richards partyWhen i hear stuff like this, it boggles my mind.  I can't believe that these millionaires would walk in to a frat party, and to make things even worse, drink all their alcohol and not spend a dime.  Yeah they took pictures with most of the kids, but come on, why wouldn't they go to a nice classy bar where they can pick up women their own age.

I was at Muzik(a high class Toronto club) on Saturday night, and all of the New Orleans Hornets were there, Chris Paul, Tyson Chandler and Morris Petterson.  Two weeks ago, all of the Raptors were there, Chris bosh, Andrea Bargnani, Jermaine O'neal and their was a bunch of Chicago Blackhawks players there like Patrick Kane, Nikoali Khabibulin, Patrick Sharp, even their coach, Joel Quenville was there.  These

are the kind of places these athletes have to go to, high class places were they can spend all of their money, not too mention, high class women who they can spend all of their money on.

So next time your in Toronto, be sure to check out Muzik Night Club as you will be sure to run into someone famous or the employees at TotalProSports.com

I understand what you’re saying about crashing a frat party and not spending a dime. But as for “why wouldn’t they go to a nice classy bar where they can pick up women their own age”… you have to keep in mind these guys are only 23. While I’m sure there are some young guys girls there, seniors are they’re age. If you started right out of high school, your 22 when you graduated. If you started late or take more then 4 years (which many people do these days) your 23 or 24 by the time you graduate. While not spending a dime, might not be cool, these guys are just being their age.

      I agree with Eric wholeheartedly.

This article is a bit of an overreaction to say the least. The Frat WANTED these guys there, and also, they are 23 years old!! That’s absolultey college age. I was 22 when I graduated, and while most might be 21, there are a TON of people in their early 20’s at these parties. These guys are just having some fun is all, and have every right too. If they were 30 years old, I could maybe see your point, but I’d still leave ‘em alone in the end.

Remember, these guys never had the time to party, they were all under EXTREME pressure of the Canadian Junior System(far more intense than other systems,I know that, and I’m not even Canadian), and we don’t need to get into how much pressure is put on these kids at such a young age and how people feel about it, but this all ties in. I say, give them a break and let them be. They do go to very classy places and are sighted all the time by the way. It isn’t like they are doing this all the time anyway.

As far as I’m concerned, Hockey players are the best athletes in the world, it’s a privilege to hang out with them if anything. Just take a look at other sports and the BS that goes on there. if this is the worse that happens, this is laughable by comparison. I’m not even going to get into examples.

I think it’s great that Hockey athletes are so transparent like this. I remember here in Philadelphia, when I just got out of college not far from Temple actually, I hung out with a few Flyers at various bars. Lindros was known to buy shots and beers at different places, I got to hang out with Donald Brasheer and few times, Justin Williams, Todd Fedoruk, Simone Gagne…and a few others that were a bit older at the time, and ALL had a great time out. I’ll never forget when Williams was a rookie and I got to talk to him at such a young age, and how proud I was of him and to have such a personal discussion with him, it was great to remember. And Todd Fedoruk? He’s a funny as hell, and ended up seeing him a few times as well.

I’ll never forget having drinks with them all those years ago, and if I was at University now, I’d invite these guys over any time. People also need to remember, Philly is a big College city. We have 6 major schools in the city and more in the surrounding areas, so there’ s LOTS to do, and that’s not counting the Old City and Manyunk areas where most of the bars are, as well as the Waterfront on Del Ave….
