In many people’s eyes the best team in the ACC Conference this year was the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets, with wins against Boston College, Clemson, Florida State, Miami (Fla) and Georgia.  The Jackets really flourished with the option offense, rushing for over 400 yards in their final two games.  It really comes down to strength against strength as the LSU Tigers enter the game with the 17th ranked rush defense.

The Tigers did not have a good season overall defensively however, they did not compete well against the elite teams in the SEC.  The Tigers youth was evident at the quarterback position, Jarrett Lee and Andrew Hatch did not get it done towards the end of the season.  A quarterback that did get the job done was the leader of the triple threat for the Yellow Jackets, Josh Nesbitt, he leads the third ranked rush offense into this one.

The youth of the Tigers’ quarterbacks may prove to be a big problem in this game, the Georgia Tech defense will most likely send numerous blitz packages their way.  Georgia Tech will crowd the line of scrimmage and force Jarrett Lee to beat them with his arm.  On the other side of the ball, the Yellow Jackets will need to make some plays through the air as the Tigers will also stuff the line scrimmage and make Nesbitt make some plays through the air.
