Urban Meyer Makes History

2

Urban MeyerTotal Pro Sports-  After leading the Florida Gators to victory over the Oklahoma Sooners last night, Urban Meyer becomes the first coach in history to win two BCS National Championships.  Considering how competitive Division 1 college football has become, not to mention the amount of player turnover there is each year, this is no small feat.

It is interesting to note that if Florida had lost the game last night, Oklahoma coach Bob Stoops would have been the first coach to win two BCS Championships.  Thanks to Tim Tebow and the rest of the Gators, coach Urban Meyer's name is once again in the history books.

Unfortunately, many Florida players will be entering upcoming NFL draft and will no longer be playing for Meyer in Gainesville.  The same thing happened in 2006, after the Meyer won his first BCS Championship and only 2 years later he has another, so I don't think he is worried.
