Marc Andre Fleury Celebrates With Terrible Towel
Total Pro Sports – It was all because of the Terrible Towel celebration by the Pittsburgh Penguins goaltender Marc Andre Fleury that the Pittsburgh Steelers beat the Baltimore Ravens this past Sunday.
After beating the New York Rangers 3-0, goalie Marc Andre Fleury skated onto the ice after the game as the first star in a Pittsburgh Steelers helmet and was waving in the air a Terrible Towel, all before the Steelers game started.
The Terrible Towel is a gimmick created for the encouragement of the Pittsburgh Steelers, an American football team in the National Football League (NFL). Created in 1975 by late Steelers radio broadcaster Myron Cope, the Towel has since become “arguably the best-known fan symbol of any major pro sports team”
Fleury may have started a new trend in Pittsburgh. This is how the trend works, every time the Penguins win before a home Steelers game and a Penguins player is named to one of the 3 stars. One of the Penguins 3 stars has to skate onto the ice wearing a Steelers helmet waving the Terrible Towel.
This will most likely guarantee a Pittsburgh Steelers win!!!
