omg I loved nhl cool shots. I had to tape it every week. I remember watching and taping nhl cool shots every week starting with the 1997-98 season. It was usually on espn soon after I got home from school. I was in high school at the time. I wish I could find old shows online even though I still have some of them on tape

Corey, I agree with you, and you make some valid points, but the problem here is not that the NHL doesn't want to have more tv shows and commericials, its that American't don't give a damn about hockey. Why would ESPN add a hockey show to its line-up if no one is going to watch it? It just doesn't make sense. ESPN doesn't care about promoting hockey, they care about rating.

I remember when i was living in the States, I would have to watch ESPN for an hour just to see a hockey score. Hockey is behind Baseball, Football and Basketball...and its behind all American college sports when it comes to television air-time. American's figure any true NHL fan will order the NHL Network, and therefore this will be the only channel dedicated to hockey. Its sad, but the problem is much bigger then just television.
