While Bonnie Lincoln may share a common ancestor with Abraham Lincoln, she is not a direct descendent of him. Robert Lincoln was the only child of President Lincoln to reach adulthood. He had three children, two girls and a boy. The boy died at age 16 (thus no more descendants of Lincoln with a last name of Lincoln). The two girls had a total of 3 children, none of whom had any kids. The last direct descendant of Abraham Lincoln, Robert Todd Lincoln Beckwith, died in 1985. I don't know what her parents told her but there are no living direct decendants of Abraham Lincoln. Three of his four children died in childhood and the fourth had no children. She may be related through Lincoln's half-brother though.
