I happen to really like Oswalt, but how do you figure out a fair way to eliminate A-Rod's Texas numbers? You can't just wipe em out like they didn't exist , if he hit 150ish home runs over those 3 years , is it safe to assume that had he been clean he would have hit at least 90 home runs? There is no way to quantify " what if ".

I understand where your coming from but it's not fair to throw a guy out of the league for using substances that were not banned at the time. I like the phrase of don't hate the player, hate the game in this case, because its more MLB's fault for allowing it to happen. It is the same in the NFL it's obvious those players are on PED's now if the NFL were to start cracking down no anabolic steroids how can you establish a time frame of when it started.
