Soccer Referee Takes A Ball To The Face
Total Pro Sports- Out of all the professional sports, soccer (football) seems to get a bad rap. The game has a reputation for not being physical enough and most of the players are considered pansies for constantly faking injuries.
For those of you who don't think soccer is a physical sport, take a look at how hard the ball hits this referee in the face. It happened on Saturday, in a Seria A game between Lazio and Torino. The game ended in a 1-1 tie,
"Ignazio Abate's first goal in the top flight put Torino on course for their first away win of the season after 36 minutes, but Sebastiano Siviglia equalized in the 75th minute."
The definite highlight of the game we think was the referee taking the ball in the face. It's hard to watch a second time over felling the pain of the unexpected ref.

Let it be know that this though is only thought of in the USA because Americans are jealous that the NFL and MLB are irrelevant everywhere else other than in the States.
Soccer is a highly physical game, so there is no basis to that type of comment. Furthermore, “toughguy” sports like NFL they where pads like little beatches…why where pads???? In Rugby they dont where pads. And baseball???? Could there be a less physical game than baseball? Maybe Golf.
