Fedor Emelianenko Wants To Fight Brock Lesnar
Total Pro Sports- Brace yourself MMA fans because WAMMA Heavyweight Champion Fedor Emlianenko, has recently stated that he would like to fight current UFC Heavyweight Champion Brock Lesnar. Fedor has indicated that he will meet with the UFC's Dana White to work out a deal to fight the former WWE star and current champion.

I really hope this fight goes through because it will be another opportunity for Fedor to show the world how dominant he is. There is a lot of hype surrounding Lesnar right know, but in my opinion he can't beat Fedor. For those of you who think that Brock's size will be too much for Fedor to handle, don't forget that he has beaten MMA giants such as Tim Silvia (6'8), Semmy Schilt (6'11), and Hong Man Choi (7'2).
Hopefully Dana and Fedor can come to an agreement on this fight because it has the potential to be huge. Until a deal is reached Fedor will continue fight for the Affliction promotion and his next opponent is likely to be either Josh Barnett or Vitor Belfort.

Nobody’s really mentioning that when Brock beat Randy, Couture hadn’t fought in over a year. No disrespect to any of the fighters, (cause I’m certain that they could all whoop on me) but it doesn’t seem like beating Randy when he’s coming up on 50 and is most likely a little off his game game because all the legal sh*t he’s had to deal with is all that impressive. Ring rust? Brock is a big strong dude but even he wasn’t able to completely dominate Randy in his fight and I certainly don’t think he’ll be able to control somebody who is as good at scrambling for position as Fedor. When you’re as big as Lesnar is one punch can end any fight. Of course I’d have to mention that he’s never had a one punch KO while Fedor has had many. Either one can win but I really have to side with Fedor.
Ok let me break this down to you we know Fedor has one hit knockout power, we know that is Ground and pound is deadly, his Sambo skills will tear your arm off and put into a submission. His speed on his right hand is lightning fast (ask Brett Rogers.) His mental game is incredible, his footwork and explosiveness will leave you dazed. Brock Lesnar in the other hand had only 5 fights, which one he lost to Frank Mir to a leg lock. He beat 46 year old Randy Couture for the UFC championship Title. Brock is a amateur and when he fights i can see he leaves a lot of openings which happens to be Fedor’s specialty.
I personally feel that if Brock wants to stand a chance against Fedor then he needs to work on armbar defense, being in the guard , judo throws and snapping his punches with combos. One of Fedor’s huge weapons against bigger opponents is the armbar and Lesnar has to learn how to defend it. My advice would be to use the diaz bros. method of twisting out and possibly ending up in side mount but that’s just my opinion. It disappoints me to see such a large strong athlete like Lesnar not use submissions because you know he could do some damage with key locks and kimuras. Bottom line though is that Fedor will probably win on the ground but it would be shocking if Lesnar upsets with a knockout…..he does possess the power to do so.
