The Amare Stoudemire Trade Watch

amare stoudemire Chicago BullsTotal Pro Sports-  Not all is well in the land of the Phoenix SunsTerry Porter has been relieved of his duties halfway through his first season,  Jason Richardson was arrested last night and Amar’e Stoudemire is on his way out of town.  The Suns were at one time a premier team in the league, now they are surrounded by uncertainty.  You can be certain of this, Stoudemire will be traded this week.

They are many teams interested in All-Stars services and the Suns are looking for the best possible deal.  The teams that have been showing the most interest recently are the Chicago Bulls, Portland Trailblazers and the Memphis Grizzlies. I think that the team that stands the greatest chance of landing him is the Chicago Bulls.

This seems likely as the Bulls are loaded with young talent and have coveted a dominating post-player for years.  Also, the fact that the Bulls play in the eastern conference means that the Suns could be more willing to pull the trigger on this deal.  The players involved in talks from the Bulls include Tyrus Thomas, Drew Gooden, Joakim Noah and Andres Nocioni.  The deal should happen sometime this week, maybe even today.

Its too bad that Amar’e is leaving the Suns because he is still in the prime of his career.  I think that a change in scenery would be good for him especially if he ends up with the Bulls playing alongside super-rookie Derrick Rose.
