Total Pro Sports-  The Washington Capitals love Mixed Martial Arts, and really who doesn't?

On Saturday night there was an MMA card held at George Mason University, and many prominent Washington sports stars took in the event.  Alexander Ovechkin was there along with teammates Donald Brashear, Mike Green and Nicklas Backstrom. Also, Washington Redskins tight end Chris Cooley was there sitting right beside Alex.  Cooley managed to keep his pants on for the entire show.

Check out the pick, look at OV, he must be thinking about which moves he is going to use on Sydney Crosby during their next game.  Maybe he is wondering why these MMA guys didn't take up hockey when they were young.

It was interesting to see Donald Brashear there because I think that he could probably take care of anyone who was fighting that night.  Maybe that is what he wants to do after his NHL career is finished.  I would love to see what he could do in the ring, considering how well he fights on the ice.

The only player who wasn't in attendance that should have been there was Alexander Semin, who could of learned the correct way to throw a punch.
