John Tortorella Likes His Apples Big
Total Pro Sports- Reports from TSN indicate that John Tortorella is leaving the NHL on TSN to coach the New York Rangers.
Earlier in the day, the Rangers fired head coach Tom Renney after the team looked to be hitting a downward spiral that has seen their playoff hopes come into serious question.
There are also still some issues that exist between the Rangers and Lightning concerning Tortorella, but these should be sorted out allowing for a deal to be made. With all this being said, there is still the possibility that Tampa Bay may file tampering charges against the Rangers.
So what will this mean for the New York Rangers? Well you can be sure to get your fair share of interesting press conferences. Nothing better than a character like Tortorella to be coaching in a big city like New York. We look forward to posting many of his outrageous comments here at TPS.
