Total Pro Sports – Believe it, the Syracuse Orange beat the Connecticut Huskies in the Big East Quarterfinals 127-117 in 6, that’s right 6 thrilling over time quarters Thursday Night.  The Orangemen will now move on to play the West Virgina Mountaineers who also shocked Pittsburgh 74-60.

The Syracuse Orange were lead by Jonny Flynn who played 67 minutes, added 34 points, 11 assists and 3 rebounds in the win ultimately making him “The Stat Line Of The Night” for Thursday March 12th, 2009.

“I’ve got no words,” Syracuse coach Jim Boeheim said when asked to describe the second-longest Division I game ever. “I’ve never been prouder of any team I’ve coached.”

Keep an eye out for this Syracuse team come the Final Four, they are our sleeper pick.
