Linus Omark Embarrasses Goalie With Crazy Shootout Goal
Total Pro Sports- In a friendly game between Sweden and Switzerland, Swedish forward Linus Omark, scored one of the best shootout goals I have ever seen. Just when I thought I had seen all of the best shootout moves, this kid decides to chip the puck over the goalie's head. It was also the game winner.
In case you are wondering, the Edmonton Oilers drafted him in the 4th round of the 2007 NHL entry draft. He currently plays for Lulea HF, in the Swedish Elite League. Omark looks to be the latest in a long line of Swedish superstars, I can't wait to see what this guy can do in the NHL.

Apparently, Linus is no stranger to slick moves on the ice. Check out what he did during a Swedish Elite League game a couple of months ago.

Linus was by no means a number 1 at the time, but with the way he is palying now, beign a dominant force in a big league at only 21? He’s certainly the real deal.
get him over here pronto, Oilers. We need a kid like this. Our future just keeps gettign better with guys liek Chroney, Petry, Peckham, Smidm Gebeshkov, Gilbert, hemsky, Gagner, Cogliano, Nilsson, Brule, Schremp, and now Omark.

Those were amazing! I love how the non-english announcer had the same laugh we all did when watching that first goal.

Linus……….you need some size to go along with that amazing skill, because in the NHL you would not have the time and space to pull that off!
