Allen Iverson Not Banned From Detroit Casinos

allen-iverson-not-banned-from-detroit-casinosTotal Pro Sports – News around the world broke yesterday that Allen Iverson of the Detroit Pistons, was been banned by 2 local Detroit Casinos (Greek Town and MGM Grand) for improper behavior.

“Iverson, though, has been banned mostly for his boorish behavior. He is a bad loser, and he loses a lot, often throwing his chips or cards at the dealer. He has been warned about improper behavior at the tables repeatedly. He is often loud and disruptive, according to witnesses, rude to dealers, other players and the wait staff.”

Now today, it was announced by Greektown casino spokesman Riley Meredith and MGM Grand Detroit spokesman Jamaine Dickens that these reports are false.

“Iverson has not been banned from the casino, nor did he know if Iverson has ever been warned about improper behavior at the casino.”

A time when Casinos are fighting stay afloat, do you really think they would ban a High Roller like Iverson?

I find this highly unlikely, casinos love players like Iverson who have million dollar bankrolls.  They would probably allow him to do far worse things (then throw his chips or cards at the dealer) before they decided never to let him in their casino again.
