Alexei Kovalev Plays Tug-O-War With Boston Fans
Total Pro Sports- At the conclusion of Thursday nights game between the Montreal Canadiens and the Boston Bruins, a fan tried to steal Alexei Kovalev’s stick. It all happened after Phil Kessel scored an empty net goal to give the Bruins a 4-2 lead and end any chance of a Montreal comeback. There was a scrum by the boards and a fan grabbed Kovalevs stick and tried to steal it.
The fan was unsuccessful in his attempt to nab a free souvenir. If he was able to get the stick I’m sure he would have been the hero of Beantown. He can always try again in game 2.
