Brandi Chastain’s Bra Is Being Held Hostage
Total Pro Sports- The black sports bra that was worn by Bandi Chastain during the 1999 World Cup has been taken into custody by a U.S. Bankruptcy court. The Wall Street Journal is reporting that the Sports Museum of America has declared bankruptcy.
“The black sports undergarment she famously exposed to the world after a game-winning goal in the 1999 World Cup had been taken into custody by U.S. bankruptcy court. To secure its release from a storage facility in Newark, N.J., Ms. Chastain would have to pay $250 — plus shipping. “Thank goodness I have another one,” she jokes.” (Wall Street Journal)
$250 plus shipping, for a sweaty old bra in this economy. I wouldn’t pay 1 dollar for that. If I were Brandi I would tell them to keep it. I wonder where they get the balls to ask for money for items that have been donated?
Another item being held, is one of Tony Hawk’s first skateboards. Apparently, they want $1,500 for it, that is robbery. The moral of the story, never donate something to a museum, they can’t be trusted.
