Kim Kardashian Watches Dodgers Break Record
Total Pro Sports – What better day to break the MLB record for most consecutive win at home to start the season, than to have Kim Kardashian and the family throw out the first pitch and pretend to watch the game from the stands. That was the scene last night at Dodger Stadium as they took their 13th in a row at home.
What started with some eye-candy for the opening pitch, continued with a seven-run rally in the sixth to help the Dodgers end the game on the winning side and break the modern day record formerly held by the 1911 Detroit Tigers. Unfortunately they are still eight away from tying the actual record of 21 held by the 1880 Chicago White Sox. When asked about the record after the game, winning pitcher Clayton Kershaw had the following to say:
“We’re not going 81-0 at home. Sooner or later, it’s going to happen. I don’t think anybody really cares about the streak. We just want to build as big a lead as possible, especially with the other teams in our division scuffling.” (MLB.com)
Talk about a lack of hope. Anything is possible when you have Joe Torre, isn’t it? Maybe if the Dodgers invite the Kardashians to every game, they will continue to bring their good luck. Or maybe not, but at least you know they will bring the good looks. Check them out.
