Kobe Bryant Give Himself A Sick Ally Oop Pass
Total Pro Sports – Last night was a must win for the Los Angeles Lakers and Kobe Bryant stepped up to make sure they did just that. His 40 points led the way for his team, but his two most impressive points came on a “self ally oop” pass off the backboard.
In the fourth quarter, with just over 4 minutes remaining, Kobe received a pass behind the 3-point line and had Shane Battier draped all over him. Attempting to shake him off, he drove to his left, towards the basket and put up the underhand pass off the backboards, jumped to grab it himself and laid it in by the rim, putting his finishing touch on the Lakers’ 111-98 victory.
Now the series heads back to Houston tied 1-1. the Rockets may have been disappointed after losing game two, but had you asked them before the series if they would take a split in the first two games at the Staples Center, they would most certainly accept. Now they have home court advantage and will look to keep it if they expect to continue their run.
Here is the sweet move. Somehow Kobe always makes it seem so easy.
