Chad Greenway Questions Favre’s Loyalties
Jason Taylor Brings Dancing Shoes Back To Miami
Total Pro Sports – After leaving the team for a year, Jason Taylor has rejoined the Miami Dolphins, signing a one-year $1.5 million deal on Wednesday. Rumors had the DE/OLB going to the Patriots, but his heart was with South Florida, where he still calls home.
Taylor spent last year with the Redskins, but was ineffective most of the year, coming in and out of the lineup with injury problems. When asked about his decision to return to the Dolphins, Taylor said:
“My heart has always been in Miami, and so I’m truly excited to call myself a Dolphin once again. I was presented with a number of different opportunities, but in the end the combination of this being the best situation for my family, my love for this community and my tremendous loyalty to a great organization made this an easy decision.” [TSN.ca]
So after playing through the rough 1-15 season, then leaving Miami during their 11-5 season that saw them win the AFC East, Taylor returns looking to stay healthy and help the Dolphins take the next step. With Tom Brady expected to be back, and slinging TDs for the Patriots next year, Miami will need to be even better if they want to get back to the post-season for the second year in a row.
