Phil Mickelson Leave’s PGA Tour To Be With Wife
Total Pro Sports - Phil Mickelson has suspended his PGA Tour schedule indefinitely according to reports. His wife, Amy, has been diagnosed with breast-cancer, causing Phil to leave golf so he can be with her as she undergoes treatment. It is expected that Amy will have a few more tests and begin treatment with major surgery as early as the next two weeks.
This is sad news for the entire golf and sporting world as Amy has become a noticeable figure around the tour, being by her husband's side for his three major wins. Tiger Woods had the following to say about the unfortunate news:
"Elin and I are deeply saddened to hear the news about Amy. Our thoughts and prayers are with her, Phil, the children and the entire Mickelson family."
The Tour will now be without one of its more popular figures. The lefty has built himself a wide fan base and their thoughts and prayers, along with ours at TPS, will no doubt be with Amy, Phil and their entire family at this time.

I have faith that Amy will be able to beat cancer and that soon she and her family will be back in public eye again. Hopefully this will encourage the PGA Tour and golf lovers across America to do more to raise money for cancer research and awareness. My current college roommate has been battling cancer since high school. Cancer is a subject that touches very close to home.
godspeed to you Amy, my prayers are with you every day, God is with you
