Alena Schurkova: “Simona Halep You Can Be A Champion With Big Boobs”
Total Pro Sports - In the continuing saga that is Simona Halep's 34DD breasts, a possible savior may have just turned up in the nick of time. That savior is none other than Alena Schurkova, the size 32E former volleyball star.
The rising 17-year-old tennis star has received a lot of attention because of her busty figure. The focus on her then increased when she announced her intentions to reduce her breast size just over a week ago. Late last week, reports indicated that she had booked her date for surgery in the fall. Why did she decide to do such a thing? Halep responded with the following:
"The breasts make me uncomfortable when I play. It's the weight that troubles me - my ability to react quickly."
At that point many had thought all hope was lost, but here comes Alena Schurkova to the rescue. Alena was South Africa's top seeded volleyball player at one time, and has stated that such a decision for Simona would do more harm than good:
"If she does this it sends out the message that girls with big boobs can't play sports and that is just wrong. I am 32E and I have never found them to be a problem. To be honest I wouldn't mind having bigger boobs. I could be double what I have and I would still be OK to perform. I do a lot more explosive movements than her, throwing myself around on the beach volleyball court, so I don't really understand the argument that it's restrictive having bigger breasts." [TheSun]
She also mentioned the negative effect that such a layoff could pose to the young star at this point in her career:
"There will definitely be a long lay-off for recovery. Compared to Breast Augmentation, reduction is rather invasive and severe. With that long lay-off her fitness level will go down, no question about it. So time lost on court and getting back to fitness could harm her career more than having big breasts."
Alena would also point to another female tennis player, Serena Williams, as proof that breasts need not be an obstacle in one's game. Instead, all that is really needed is a "good support bra."
It will now be interesting to see if Simona Halep takes this sound advice. Alena makes a valid point when using herself and Serena Williams as examples. She maybe should have also mentioned the publicity that giant "sweater-puppets" can get you, although that perhaps is something Simona may have already figured out herself. An unknown for her tennis skills, the name "Simona Halep" has begun to grow ever more popular, and being ranked 315th in the world, we don't suppose that has anything to do with what she has done on the court thus far.
Make us proud Simona. Make the right decision and play with what you parents gave you. In a sports world that is being overrun by performance enhancing drugs and other artificialities, it is time for someone to step up and become the poster child for "staying natural." You can be that someone!

please just keep the breasts
I wish I had a pair of those
Can I motorboat them before you get rid of them?????
I wish she would listen to this advice from another busty female athlete who is older than her and has more experience
You are really beautiful with them…just don’t get rid of them plzzzz….
If she keeps the twins, she’ll become a megastar on both the court and off. If she shrinks them, she’ll be just another “so what!” With those kind of gifts, she would be foolish to give them up to become another so-so circuit player.
Somebody’s giving her really bad advice. Listen to Schurkova.
I don’t know who gave her that silly advice to reduce them
Uhhhhhhhhhh………. Noooooooooooooooo…… U can’t get rid of those milk full JUGS…
Plzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz dont break my heart……… Atleast b4 u get rid of them… giv us the pleasure of playing with them for a NIGHT…
Yummmmmyyyyyyyy………..
at least have a topless foto session before the reduction
))
I can pay anything to see them seriously
I love u
I want for u the best
I love those boobs , Please do not remove de size of that lovely pair.
Send to hell the person that advise you to reduce it.
I´m your fan numeber One, I do not care your game , I love your Boobs.!!
Its her body her choice not anyone else’s. People shouldn’t be believeing such silly non-exsistant messages that big breasted women can’t play sports in the first place.
And its unfair to throw her into that spotlight insisting she act as poster child for the cause. kudos to big breast but its her choice and should not be pressured or decided by anyone but her.
I believe the term is actually “sweater-puppies,” not “puppets…”
She’s beautiful. It’s a shame that she feels the need to get a reduction. I’m surprised there isn’t a sports bra company out there interested in helping her find a less invasive solution to her troubles, let alone tons of free press for themselves…
You are who you are……and if you get reduction you just prove to the world that no matter who you are, you are always resricted from certain things in life. Hers would be playing tennis even though she has large breasts.
And let us be honest! More people would watch tennis
Well, I can understand her, because I always had big breasts and I wanted them to be smaller. But hey, the only one thing I needed was bra in the right size! Instead of my old 36F’s (with too wide back and too small cups), I tried 32H. It helped a lot – now I can dance, run for a bus, even wear tight shirts
and with a special sports bra (yes, you can find them in THAT size) I had no problems on my aerobics classes (which required a lot of movement).
I guess it would help her as well – getting right sized bras and specially designed sports bras is (at least) much cheaper than surgery and imho worth a try
I totally understand her feelings. I’m also busty and doing any sort of high-impact activity is just uncomfortable. Also, the boobs do get in your way when you’re doing lateral motions with your arms. Volleyball players don’t really make those, but tennis players do all the time. Hell, mine get in the way when I play the piano. If she is otherwise small-framed, heavy breasts can cause a lot of back pain as well. If she wants the surgery, she should do it.
All you people wanting the girl to keep her boobs need to ask yourself whether you would support her in life…
get her breasts removed is like punching god in the face
@J-L: Gladly. With both hands.
she’s an attractive woman. why take some of that away?! Some day some man
will enjoy what god gave you….consider yourself very lucky to choose.
