Don Cherry Has His Hands Full With Giant Octopus
Total Pro Sports – Who better to give an intro to the ever-so-important game 7 of the Stanley Cup finals. Don Cherry was in the Detroit river to kick off the big night and he brought a giant friend with him.
It all starts with the names of grinders popping up on the screen. Then cue Don Cherry as he pulls a giant octopus out of the water. It is unbelievable how big the sea creature is, and it looks like it may even be a bit too heavy for Don to hold up. The tune of Kiss’ “Rock & Roll All Night” begins to make its way onto the airwaves and the show is set to go.
It is a great intro put together by the CBC crew and our last cherished moment spent with Don Cherry this playoff season. He has provided some great clips, like dropping the F-bomb in one segment, and having his own “Dos Equis” spin-off in during another finals intro. What do you think of Don Cherry now Ovechkin?
