Diego Scores A Cheeky Goal In Juventus Debut

diego-scores-a-cheeky-goal-in-juventus-debutTotal Pro Sports – We have yet another goal to add to the highlight vault with Claudio Lopez‘s 60 yarder and Falcão‘s indoor brilliance.

The summer signing of Diego gave Juventus fans something to get excited about, and he showed why during his debut in a Peace Cup match against Seongnam of Korea. The skilled Brazilian midfielder displayed great composure and patience in the Seongnam penalty area, and was able to demonstrate a delightful display of skill before finessing the ball past the keeper.

After the signings of Cristiano Ronaldo (from Manchester United) and Kaka (from AC Milan) by Real Madrid, the transfer of Diego from Werden Bremen of the Bundesligia to the “old lady” of Italian soccer, Juventus, went below the radars. Teamed up with Italian international Sebastian Giovinco, who showed glimpses of stardom off the bench last season for the Bianconeri, as well as during the under-21 European Championship, Juventus are sure to bolster one of the most exciting midfields in European football.

Is Diego the key ingredient in bringing Juventus back to the top of Seria A, and a Champions League contender? That remains to be seen, but for now we have been treated to a great goal from a great player. Enjoy.
