Total Pro Sports - Most people will tell you that baseball's biggest rivalry is between the New York Yankees and the Boston Red Sox.  That may no longer be the case and we have the video evidence to prove it.

This weekend was not the first time Philadelphia Phillies and New York Mets fans have mixed it up, and I'd be willing to bet that it will not be the last.

This incident occurred prior to the top of the sixth inning in the game between the two bitter division rivals on Saturday night.  With the score 3-1 in favor of the Phillies, two fans from opposing teams looked to be exchanging heated words when another Phillies' fan poured a beer on the Mets' fan from behind (not the beer throwing thing again!).  That, as you may expect, caused the recipient of the poured beer to turn around, but that would end up being a bad decision.

As he spotted the beer thrower and readied himself to deliver a punch in retaliation, he was a split second behind causing him to received a couple before he could give one of his own.  The second punch to the face was enough to knock him over the seats and security would arive to break things up shortly after.

Tempers already seem to be high in both New York and Philly, but there is something about when these two teams meet that bring emotions to a boiling point.  I could only imagine how much worse it would be if the Mets were actually good.
