I've watched altogether too much professional wrestling in my lifetime, but 'Rampage' Jackson's little temper tantrum with the door looked like Rampage was playing to the camera to me. The whole season of this show looks staged to me. Notice the incessant shots of "this is the real thing" and "this is as real as it gets" throughout the proceedings. Does that put anyone in the mind of Kurt Angle's catchphrase while he was at Titan? They protesteth overmuch, methinks. Rampage's whole schoolyard bully act seems to me a put-on to 'up' the ratings by introducing an element of conflict (beyond the inherent tension of only one man getting an ensured contract). Indeed, does Rampage's whole feud with Dana White put one in the mind of one of the most famous feuds in professional wrestling - Stone Cold versus Vince McMahon? McMahon made millions by tapping into the average joe's fantasy of kicking his boss's ass. Are Rampage's tauntings of the boss just a toned-down version of this sort of thing? If this was a real tantrum, someone here has impulse-control issues and should take measures to address it. If, on the other hand, it's just a publicity stunt, it's not such a hot idea. If Dana wants the public to think his athletes are a bunch of barely-under-control psychotic thugs, he should put this footage on permanent rotation. Question is, should the UFC really go there? Dana took umbrage with the treatment of the UFC in that episode of the Simpsons, but maybe again he protesteth overmuch. Many people assert the 'game' in the UFC has advanced since the more rough-and-tumble early days, but just think...Royce Gracie was once legitimately the most fearsome athlete on the planet, all the while maintaining his dignity. No small feat. Maybe the UFC just wants to 'rough up' its image. That's my take, anyhow...Greg Cameron, Surrey, B.C., Canada

So I will say that the door is of light construction but until you rage on one and you do the same damage in the same amount of time you should shut the fuck up!

lol at the author of this bit suggesting that the door is made of dry wall. Dry wall??? lol, apparently he doesn't know what drywall is. Also, another lol at suggesting that it's a prop. The door is made of press wood panels, with cardboard ribbing between the panels. Doors like this are common these days, and are used both commercially and residentially.

And yes, these doors are easy to break in such fashion, as I've done it myself during home demolitions, prior to remodeling.

It's a standard interior door. Ozymandias is right about the construction of the door but I don't agree with him that it's not impressive. It's easy to put holes in a door but he did rip the top half off of the door with his hands in a second. He's either a heavy mother fucker who knows leverage well or he goes hulk smash every time he want to destroy something. If you don't agree, try ripping the top half of a door off with ur hands the first try. If you win, you get to buy a new door.

That door is a cheap interior door which is just 1/8" wood veneer glued together on strips of particle board and cardboard interior. It's not that impressive he was able to tear it apart, in fact I'm surprised it took him so long.
