american football is soo stupid that when it was established the people couldnt come up with an original name so they stole football from english football why is it even called football when they mostly use their hands???

My beef isn't with Rugby, that's a man's sport. Also, pads don't negate toughness, just as a lack of pads does not make a sport tougher.

Hockey and lacrosse both have padding, I would say they are tough guy sports.

Football is what it is because of pads, there's no way those guys would be able to hit as hard as they do if it weren't for the pads. The game would slow down and collisions would be far less direct. And each play is better because of the stopping between plays and having specialists at each position, that's when strategy comes into play.
