few things that are keepin him away from UFC:

1) UFC contract will not allow him Sambo, judo participations that he has been doin all his life and love to death: how is that fair to a fighter???

2) if the match doesnt go the way Dana wanted or if Fedor loses the match his contract may be terminated or he will have to sit and wait for Dana's instructions. he is locked up in the contract: how is that fair with any athlete or sportsman????

3) money offered is not great, plus dana doesnt not let him co-promote m1: if UFC is that big and has all the best fighters why is DANA so scared of co-promoting one fight?? Fedor hasnt become popular overnight he is been beatin the S out of every big fighter for past 10 years. he deserves a piece of business 100%.

and btw.. yur too narrow minded to see outside the box. you r talking Dana and American media's language. you have been made to believe that UFC is best and only America has the best fighters and Pride fighters were shit. hahaha.

i Dont understand what ppl (only handful) expect from Fedor? he is a fighter and he will bleed and have cuts during fights but does he ever faze? does he ever gas out? answer is NO. and he hasnt fought any GOOD HW???? hahaha.. who is a good HW??? every fighter has a fan base and those fighter's fans will aways yell that their fighter is the best HW in the world. in that way Fedor will have 2 fight 24/7, 365 days a year & beat all those fighters to prove that he is the best there is the best there will be, but that's humanly impossible. he can fight only few fights, and if somebody has to prove anything then its rest of the fighters. they should CHASE Fedor and come to whereever he is fighting why should Fedor have to Chase all those fighters everywhere??? its like in olden days when fighters used to come and challenge bigger fighter to prove emselves. but in America i think its different, small fighters ask better fighter to come to them ..hahahahahahaha…

Fedor has fought a few cans for sure, but so has everyone else. The point is that Fedor worked his way up, like most other fighters have (excluding Brock Lesnar) and he is where he is for a reason. No, Rogers gave Fedor one of the best fights of Fedor's career. I'm not saying he gave him the best competition, just saying he is actually a pretty good fighter, especially considering how few fights he's had. As for saying, "Either Rogers really sucks, was really tired or the fight was rigged for that punch to have landed." well, there's no question that Rogers was really fatigued from Fedor wearing him out for certain, but as for Fedor's "lucky" punch that so many people like to conclude on Fedor's behalf, I say not at all luck, but rediculous speed and accuracy. If you did see the Fedor vs Arlovski fight, that is a good (but not the only) measure to cross-evaluate Fedor's timing and abilities no doubt.

It's way too easy to make such an assessment about a fighter conveniently always landing accurate and hard punches, but in this case with this fight and Fedor's reputation, I don't understand how anyone that is familiar with him would even be surprised by how this fight went, or any of his 30 plus other fights for that matter. Fedor really is that good. As the old saying goes, "Sometimes the most obvious things go unnoticed even when it is standing right in front of you (or something to that nature)."

2.) It was just a cut.. in fact a prior cut broke open. It was opened by Brett's head, rolling against Fedor's face while they were wrestling around against the cage.

3.) Before commenting again, try watching the fights. And.. now this is important, pay attention.
