Just because the referees didn't catch Henry, doesn't mean it isn't cheating. He broke the rules of the game, and it cost a nation is chance to compete for the World Cup.

If you kill a man and don't get caught, is that still not a crime?

Thierry Henry did not cheat, he commited a penalty that was not called by the referee. Thierry Henry admitted he hand-balled, 2 times, and it is the officials job to make the call. Ireland was screwed out of the world Cup, but, if FIFA does their job, they will do something about this.
