The Utah Jazz staged a remarkable comeback Thursday night against the Orlando Magic and Deron Williams just missed recording a triple-double.
The Jazz were reeling from a 101-77 loss aganst the Lakers on Wednesday. Then they got behind early against the Magic, trailing by as many as 18 in the first half. Dwight Howard of the Magic may be Superman, but the night belonged to Deron Williams.
Williams would not allow the Jazz to lose this one. He hit on 9 of 18 from the floor, including 2 of 5 from three-point range. He also got to the line 15 times and sunk 12 of those attempts. In total he scored 32 points. He also had a game-high 15 assists with just 1 turnover. Williams also added 8 rebounds and a steal. He may have just missed the triple-double, but the win is even sweeter.
