Charles Barkley In “Taco Bell Rocks” Commercial
Cavs Zydrunas Ilgauskas is a MVPuppet with Lebron (Video)
You have Lebron James, Kobe Bryant, and Dwight Howard as the existing muppets in Nike’s muppet series of commercials. Who’s the likeliest candidate to bring in to the mix next?
Probably the least likeliest, but he’s indeed been entered into the cast of the Nike MVPuppets. In this clip, Lebron appears to be getting a hair cut, or hanging out with his barbers, when in walks bald Zydrunas Ilgauskas. (Yes, the fact that he’s bald and walking into a barber shop is as surprising as him being in the commercial at all). Anyway, Lebron and Z exchange some elaborate hand shakes, chest bumps, and their routine pre-game mock-pictures before the barber gets in one final word and the Nike ad flashes across the screen.
Maybe this is retribution from Lebron to Z for endorsing the Cavs’ trade of Shaquille during the offseason, virtually making Ilgauskas useless. His minutes have been cut down, and thus his production has suffered greatly this season and it’s clear that he’s not happy. Lebron was also not happy earlier this year when the Cavs benched the two-time all-star, Ilgauskas when he had a chance to break a franchise record for games played in front of the home crowd.
I guess a muppet commercial might make things all better.
