NBCOlympics.com’s Curling Headline Racist?
NBC has delivered some rather inappropriate scenes to its viewers before, but it may be fair to say that their Olympic coverage on NBCOlympics.com has gone a bit too far after headlines after the American women’s curling loss to Japan read, “Japan nips U.S. women in opener.”
Had they been playing Canada, Great Britain, Germany, or just about any other country not situated in East-Asia, this comment may have been appropriate. Unfortunately, they were not.
