5-Year-Old Opens Red Sox Season With ‘Miracle On Ice’ Speech
Last season couldn’t have been more disappointing for the Boston Red Sox. Not only did they fail to win a single game in the post season, but they would also have to sit and watch as their arch rivals, the New York Yankees, went on to win their first World Series in nine years.
It has been a long off-season, but after some key free-agent acquisitions, the Sox and their fans were set to kick off what they hope will be a much more successful 2010 campaign, and what better way to get the ball rolling than with an inspirational speech.
For that, the Boston faithful would turn to 5-year-old Joshua Sacco, whose rendition of Herb Brooks “Miracle On Ice” speech will either send shivers down your spine, or have you laughing at just how cute this whole act really is.
