The Stat Line of the Night – 4/21/10 – Tim Duncan
The Stat Line of the Night – 4/22/10 – Jason Richardson
I’ll have whatever Jason Richardson is having. Whatever that dude ate before the game against the Trailblazers in Portland is what I’m going to eat for every meal for the rest of my life. Richardson went off and had the game of his life as the Suns just obliterated the Blazers 108-89.
The Suns led by as many as 29 as Richardson was dropping bombs on Portland. He missed three of his first four 3-point attempts, but then drained seven of his next eight from behind the line to finish 8-for-12 on threes. For the game he scored 42 points on13-19 from the field and also sank 8 of 10 from the free throw line. Throw in 8 boards, 2 helpers and 3 steals and you can see why I want to eat whatever Richardson eats. Actually, I think I want to be Richardson.
The Suns went up 2-1 series and Richardson is looking like the MVP. On top of his 42 last night, he also scored 29 in game 2. Jason Richardson is playoff awesome, and he has The Stat Line of the Night for 4/22/10.
