Perhaps the best images in sports are those taken at a perfect moment. Sometimes that moment may occur when a biker has fallen off his bike, when a baseball player watches himself in the outfield jumbotron, thus creating an optical illusion, or when Jay Bruce decides to flip off his own dugout.
I think it is fair to say that this picture of Phil Mickelson was snapped during one of those so-called “perfect moments.”
