S.J. Green Makes CFL Play Of The Year In Game One Of Season
It was only the first game of the season, but what a game it was. A shootout between the defending CFL champion Montreal Alouettes and the runner-up Saskatchewan Roughriders (105 total points) needed overtime to decide a winner, and just when it seemed as though a too-many-men penalty at the end of the game would once again cost the Roughriders, they were able to hold on for a 54-51 victory.
Although the win would go to the guys in green, the play of the game belonged to Als’ wideout S.J. Green, who made this unbelievable catch for a two-point conversion to tie the game in overtime.
We are only one day into the 2010 CFL season, but this early candidate for play of the year will be hard to top.
