It was a great catch…but these kinds of grabs happen pretty often in competitive men’s ultimate. It’s crazy how much press this one grab is getting. It’s pretty obvious how little people outside of the ultimate community actually know about Ultimate.

You can clearly see his hand hit it before it flips over, especially in the slow motion – it's his grabbing and impact that flips it over. Watch the clip – his thumb stays on the same side throughout.
