There’s nothing hotter than a hot woman rocking sports gear. And to UFC head football coach, George O’Leary, there’s nothing hotter than a former Playboy playmate rocking your team’s gear. That’s what he authorized for Shanna Marie McLaughlin to do for her cover shoot for the August issue of aXis Magazine — “Orlando’s Entertainment Resource Since 1994.”
Shanna Marie McLaughlin, Playboy’s Miss July 2010, is a proud product of the University of Central Florida. So when she was given the opportunity to don the Golden Knight’s logo and colors for the photo shoot, she ran (or posed?) with it. Inside the football team’s locker room.
Suffice to say, the school’s officials were not too pleased to see a risque photo shoot, taken inside their football locker room, making the rounds. Naturally, they attributed it to an employee without proper authorization (the head football coach), who allowed access to the locker room.
And I’m calling B-S on that.
While this might not look good to some of the straight edges applying to the school, this can only broaden awareness of Florida’s, like, 7th biggest school (a gross guesstimate). University officials know this all and well. But they also know that by being PC about it and making a big fuss, they are creating even more publicity for the school — all while throwing head football coach George O’Leary under the proverbial bus.
