Federer Hits Incredible Through-The-Legs Winner
Roger Federer may no longer be the number one tennis player in the world, but he can still hit a through-the-legs winner better than anyone in the sport. One year ago at the US Open, he dazzled us with what many believed to be the greatest shot of his career.
Last night during his first round victory over Brian Dabul, Federer hit an amazing 46 winners, including this unbelievable shot that left the crowd at Arthur Ashe Stadium in awe.
So let the debate begin. Is this the new front-runner for greatest shot of Federer’s career? It is a tough call, seeing as how his other through-the-legs winner came against another top player in Novak Djokovic during their semi-final match of last year’s US Open. But just because his latest through-the-legs shot took place in the opening round against a no-name player, it doesn’t make it any easier.
In case you can’t quite remember Roger’s amazing shot from last year’s tournament, here it is.
Tough call. What do you think?
