Aaron “Wheelz” Fotheringham Lands Wheelchair Double-Backflip
This guy is my hero. Seriously!
Aaron “Wheelz” Fotheringham was dealt the unfortunate circumstances of having to live his life in a wheelchair, but he isn’t letting that slow him down or stop him from achieving his goals in life. And his latest goal included performing a double-backflip in his wheelchair.
Like most things for people with Spina Bifida, executing a backflip in a wheelchair is no easy feat to accomplish. That was evident after seeing Aaron take some nasty spills on his first couple of attempts. But he would not let a few face plants and a broken wheelchair stop him from doing what he set out to do.
And what better way to celebrate than by making it rain Skittles? I could be wrong, but isn’t it somewhat painful to have hard candy thrown at you from above?
Congratulations Aaron on becoming the first person in the world to land a double-backflip in a wheelchair. You are truly an inspiration for us all.
