So we decided to watch week one from the sidelines and after seeing how things developed, we are ready to give you our picks for what appears to be an intriguing week two of this year’s NCAA College Football season.  And for the first edition of TotalProSports.com’s 2010 NCAA College Football Pick’em, we offer our insights on three marquee match-ups, two of which have BCS implications written all over them.

Game: (12) Miami at (2) Ohio State
Spread: Ohio State -9
Pick: Miami
Reason: The Buckeyes should win this rematch of the 2002 NCAA National Championship, but it will be a lot closer than the bookmakers seem to think.  Look for Jacory Harris to make some big plays when needed, and keep “The U” close until the final whistle.

Game: (17) Florida State at (10) Oklahoma
Spread: Oklahoma -7.5
Pick: Florida State
Reason: The Sooners may be ranked higher in the standings, but if last week was any indication, they are not the better team in this match-up. While the Seminoles cruised to a 59-6 victory over Samford behind an impressive performance from quarterback Christian Ponder, Oklahoma struggled to a nerve-wracking 31-24 victory over Utah State. With ten returning starters on the offensive side of the ball, look for Florida State to not only cover the spread, but win this game outright.

Game: Michigan at Notre Dame
Spread: Notre Dame -3.5
Pick: Michigan
Reason: In Rich Rodriguez’s third season as head coach of the Wolverines, it appears as though he may have finally found a quarterback that can run his type of offense. Remember how he used Pat White with West Virginia?  Well if you saw the Michigan offense run over UConn last weekend, you may have found yourself saying, “Damn, that Denard Robinson kid sure looks like the second coming of Pat White.” Expect the Irish fans to be saying the same thing after they fall to the Wolverines this weekend.

Current Record: 0-0
