Philadelphia Media Dubs Vick “Top Dog” (PIC)
The quarterback carousel in Philadelphia continues to turn, and the media in “The City of Brotherly Love” appears to be having some fun with it at the expense of their current starter, Michael Vick.
Whereas Coach Andy Reid has decided to name Vick the team’s starting quarterback, the people at the Philadelphia Daily News have opted to label him as the “Top Dog”. This low-blow is an obvious reference to Vick’s troubled past when he was convicted and imprisoned for his role in the Bad Newz Kennels dog fighting ring.
Vick’s troubled past appears to be behind him, but it doesn’t seem as though the media is ready to let it go just yet. Perhaps a few wins will change that.
