Jordan Eberle’s First NHL Goal May End Up Being His Best (Video)

by: JamieD On  Friday, October 8, 2010

Coming into the 2010 season, the Edmonton Oilers were boasting a line-up full of potential future NHL stars.  One of those potential stars is Jordan Eberle, and he gave fans a little taste of things to come last night in a game against the Calgary Flames.

With his team up 1-0 early in the third and on the penalty-kill, Eberle took a pass off the boards from Jim Vandermeer in the neutral zone, dragged the puck around a Flames defender and lifted a backhand shot over the blocker of Miikka Kiprusoff to complete this highlight reel goal.

We expect this to be just the first of many goals for Eberle, but he may never score a nicer one than this.
