Should We Start Calling Golfer Anthony Kim “Mr. Vegas”?
Professional golfer Anthony Kim may not have a nickname yet, but after his last trip to Sin City, perhaps we should be calling him “Mr. Vegas.”
In town for the Justin Timberlake Shriners Hospitals for Children Open, Kim withdrew from the tournament prior to Wednesday’s opening tee. He stated that it was the result of a thumb injury, which required him to have surgery earlier in the week, but this Tweet from Moon Nightclub and Ghostbar’s “DJ Exodus” at 3am on Wednesday has us thinking otherwise.
Apparently, that wasn’t the only noise Kim was making around Vegas this week. Norm Clarke of the Las Vegas Review Journal also spoke of Kim’s gambling habits and excessive swearing on the casino floor in one of his reports.
His salty language and screaming was so bad that Kim, 25, was asked to tone it down Monday by Bellagio management.
“He is one loose cannon,” said a dealer, who said Kim may have set a personal record for F-bombs while playing high-stakes craps over the weekend. [Las Vegas Review Journal]
